Some normality after the Lockdown

Abbeydale Road is now slowly getting back to normal after the lockdown and we have finally reopened the shop after being closed for about 3 months. Mind you we didn’t waste the time and have kept busy sorting out our stock.

Trade has been brisk and it’s good to see many of our old customers coming back again. People seem keen to snap up our bargains and we think they’re glad to be out and about and no longer ‘locked up’!

Please keep coming, we’re always happy to see you and we have sanitiser on tap – but don’t forget your mask!

Whilst you’re down on Abbeydale Road why not try out one of the reopened bars and cafés which are springing up all over the place. The options are now fantastic and the road is fast overtaking ‘Eccy Road’ as the place to be. It might not be as posh, but if you want edgy, bohemian, multi-ethnic or just plain different then Abbeydale’s the place to be and because it’s only a short walking distance from Meersbrook and Nether Edge, it’s fast becoming one of the trendiest places in Sheffield. You’ll be spoilt for choice, and if you’re keeping away from the big ‘chains’ on Ecclesall Road and wanting to support your local businesses we’ll all welcome you with open arms!

Ps. We’re only opening on Fridays and Saturdays at the moment, but for specific items and collections please phone us any day any time to make an appointment.
